Pastoral Care and Common Life

SOCIAL & COMMUNITY EVENTS

Gathered for social occasions and community events at All Saints. Above: getting ready for a BIG birthday celebration; enjoying performing at the Christmas Fair; a Harvest Supper with a North American flavour.

Being a Christian isn’t just about going to church, important as that is. We meet together as friends for social reasons and also enjoy working together for community events.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT

We seek to offer a listening ear to those who have been recently bereaved. Several members of All Saints attended a Bereavement Care Awareness Course (led by ‘Care for the Family’) at St Nicholas, Warwick in 2018.  We also link with bereavement support groups happening in Warwick: Chase Meadow Community Centre – Tuesday 1.00 – 2.30pm; New Life Church – Monday 7.00pm. Edward Fitchett RIP celebrated his 100th birthday at All Saints. It was a very joyous occasion as befitted someone who enjoyed life. As part of his legacy his family presented to church a print of David Hockney’s ‘Arrival of Spring’ . It enlivens our refreshment area and feels a fitting way to remember Edward. PASTORAL CARE VISITS

Jesus told us that we should love our neighbours as ourselves. We aim to be a community that cares for people whether or not they come to church. If you or somebody you know would like a visit because of sickness, bereavement or because life is difficult at the moment, please let us know.

On request, authorised volunteers distribute home communion to those wishing to receive the sacrament but who are unable to get to church because of illness or disability. Contact the church office on 01926 492073

PRAYING FOR OTHERS & FOR THOSE IN NEED

We are committed to praying for local community, the Church and all who are in need. Prayer requests can be submitted by phoning the church office or following this link.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Referral to the Diocesan Network of Spiritual Directors is possible via the church office.

The Clergy are always willing to meet people, to pray with them, to listen and discuss matters of faith and Christian living, and where appropriate, hear Confessions. Please phone the church office to make an appointment.
